About Poornawad

A philosophy of wholeness, lived together

“Poornawad” — The Absolutism — is the philosophy founded by Dr. Ramchandra Pralhad Parnerkar (b. 1916, Indore), a philosopher, Economist and spiritual thinker who blended Philosophy and Practicality into a holistic way of living.

Poornawad teaches that a meaningful life rests on three pillars held together at once — knowledge, action (karma), and worship (upasana). It does not treat spirituality and worldly responsibility as opposites: leading a family life and pursuing the divine are seen as two sides of the same principle. As Dr. Parnerkar taught, “Acharah Prabhavo Dharma” — conduct, not preaching, is the first Dharma.

Spread through a network of 300+ Jeevan Kala Mandirs, Life Management Centers and the Guru-Shishya tradition, Poornawad has guided generations of disciples across India and abroad — with dedicated programs for the empowerment of Men, Women and youth through 50+ Organisations.
